About Mark Ogilvie

During Marks time with Pāmu, he has helped co-facilitate a number of Safety Leadership and Behavioural-based Safety events for our farm staff. Prior to Pāmu, Mark had 35 years’ experience as a leader in the New Zealand Army. During this career he managed dynamic risk in both training and operational environments, in NZ and throughout the world. He held many roles within Defence, including the position of Deputy Director for Safety. Mark enjoys working for Pāmu in transforming farming and improving the safety culture within the primary sector. In particular, he is proud of the culture change the organisation has achieved in such a short time by embedding safety into the fore-front of managers and workers.
